Keith Thomson holds the flag that draped the casket of his wife, former U. S. Congresswoman Jennifer Dunn, at her funeral mass at St. James Cathedral Sept. 12.  Hundreds were drawn to the mass for the longtime popular public servant which included the Governor and the state’s congressional delegation.

I suppose I was born to be a newspaperman.

With my father’s Kodak Brownie I began photographing and writing for newspapers at the age of 14.

Now almost 35 years and countless experiences later, I can honestly say I’ve done just about every job you can do in publishing.

As a photographer, I’ve photographed everything from the Olympic Games to the Oval Office.  Popes, Presidents, Prophets and Professional athletes.  I’ve worked in numerous countries, and for numerous periodicals.

I routinely contract myself out to publishers, and am available - and capable - in every aspect of content.  I understand deadlines and budgets.

I’m not a big believer in portfolios, but I do think an individual’s work can reveal how they view the world.  I hope these galleries show my sense of the world to be optimistic, and forever romanticized.
